The Jade Guard

The Jade Guard is a military organization on the planet Tousun whose sole purpose is to guard the current Kaioshin that is acting in the position as the Guardian of Dimension. They also aid the Guardian by performing missions and acting as a military strength to aid in battles in which the Guardian must intervene in which the safety of all dimensions are concerned.

The Jade Guard consists of several squads and divisions, all run by Lieutenants. There is one Captain that is considered second in charge of all of the divisions and the General is the top figure of the Jade Guard. The General is responsible for the organization and daily operations of the Jade Guard. The General is also considered a personal “body guard” for the Guardian and accompanies the Guardian on any important missions or travels. When the General is away on business with the Guard then the Captain is usually left in charge of the Jade Guard. Under normal circumstances the Captain’s responsibilities include assigning members to specific missions based upon their skills and the general overseeing of the divisions and their Lieutenants.

The entire Jade Guard lives on Tousun with the Kai Guardian and is composed of many different species with specific attributes. Many of the members of the Jade Guard are considered the best warriors from the planets and dimensions they are from. They are considered the “Elite” in all places and times.

Some of the divisions and squads in the Jade Guard consist of medics, warriors, scouts, and more. The uniforms worn are largely dependent upon the squad and division that the individual belongs to. Each division wears a patch on their shoulder that denotes them as part of a particular division. The Captain wears a scarlet headband that denotes his or her rank. The General carries a jade encrested katana that is passed on from each General.

Members of the Jade Guard

Faye Ichi: Former General of the Jade Guard. She is the first female General and also the first Reiseikian to hold that position. She became legendary among the Jade Guard during her time spent as the General before her sudden death.

Sagi Maru: Current General of the Jade Guard who took the position after Faye Ichi. He is also a Reiseikian and is highly respected among his peers for his loyalty and dedication to the Jade Guard.

Takashi: Captain of the Jade Guard. He is the strongest warrior in the entire Guard, stronger than even the General, and is highly respected for his strength as well as his abilities as a strategic thinker. He is rather straightforward and harsh at times, particularly with those that do not dedicate themselves fully to the Guard and it’s ideals.
