Season 1
The season began with Piccolo finding a young boy that resembled Gohan. It turned out that this person is a Gohan from the future (known simply as Mirai) that was unexpectedly sent through an opening in space and time during a battle with a creature named Kageboushi in his own world. Kage had destroyed his entire world and was now after Mirai, having followed him through another opening in space and time. Kage was born from the negative energy and memories of Mirai. Piccolo brought the battered and bruised Mirari to Capsule Corporation in order to inform Vegita and others as well as help the hurt Mirai. When Kage found the group he gave them one week in order to train before he would destroy this world and Mirai. The Z senshi decided to go to the Space & Time Chamber in order to train and prepare for the battle that lay ahead. While the team was training, Kage spent his time destroying cities through the lands and making a secret laboratory. In this laboratory he placed two samples of his own DNA where two creations of himself would be born. When the final battle came, all of the warriors went up againist Kage but were quickly beaten down until Gohan figrued out the source of Kage's strength: his tail. After Kage's tail was removed he became less powerful and was quickly destroyed by the Z senshi. While the battle was going on, Bulma and some of the others went in search of the Dragonballs in order to wish back Goten and Trunks, who had died during the fight with Kage. After Kage was finally destroyed, Mirai was able to return to his own dimension and start rebuilding his own world.
